Credit Note & Refunds
How money comes back to you after a cancellation, and what a credit note means.
What is a credit note?
A credit note is advance credit. We add an amount to your account so you can keep booking before the payment reaches us. Nothing has been received against it yet, so the amount you use shows as an outstanding balance (a minus figure) on your account until it is settled.
- Credit notes are issued by our accounts team, not automatically.
- A credit note can carry a validity date. After it passes, credit bookings stop until it is extended.
- Settle a credit note by bank transfer, UPI or cheque, and send us the reference so we can mark it paid.
Flight refunds
- The airline's cancellation charge is deducted first, exactly as its fare rules state.
- Our service charge, shown before you confirm the cancellation, is deducted next.
- Non-refundable fares return only the refundable taxes, which can be zero.
- Once the airline releases the amount, it goes back to the original payment method.
- Agents booking on credit get the amount returned to the credit balance instead.
Timing depends on the airline and your bank — usually a few weeks after the airline approves. Ask us for the status of a specific refund and we will confirm the expected date.
Hotel refunds
- Free cancellation until the deadline on your voucher gives a full refund of what you paid us.
- After that deadline, the hotel's charge applies and only the remainder is refunded.
- Non-refundable rates and no-shows are not refunded.
- Our service charge on a cancellation is shown before you confirm it.
Timing depends on the hotel and your bank — usually one to two weeks after the cancellation is confirmed. Ask us for the status of a specific refund and we will confirm the expected date.
Good to know
- Refund timelines start when the airline or hotel approves the cancellation, not when you request it.
- Payment gateway fees and convenience fees are not refundable.
- Track any cancellation from your booking page, or ask us at [email protected].
